The Harvest highschool - Kariobangi

The Harvest high school in Kariobangi currently has 150 students in form 1 to form 4. That is the age of 14 to 18 years. Many of the students came to the program when they were very young while others joined for the first time in high school. All over Nairobi there are students which attained excellent grades in their national primary exams but are unable to join high school because of the high cost. Every year we admit such students into the high school.

The students do sit for the national exam at the end of their 4 years, where they compete with all other students in the country. Apart from academics, the students participate in many extra curricular activities, such as football, drama and music.

Harvest primary school - kariobangi

The Nairobi schools are located in Kariobangi north in Kasarani district, in between several slums. The school has about 400 students from the age of three to fifteen. The students come from the poorest families and were admitted to join the school because their families could not provide for them or offer them schooling. All the children get lunch at school, but in addition there are about 80 children living in the school dormitories, where they also get breakfast and dinner. The school is registered under the ministry of education in Kenya and teaches the Kenya national curriculum.
